DCM Rentals has submitted an application to the Los Angeles Department of City Planning for a new affordable housing project at 9700 Venice Boulevard in the Palms neighborhood. The proposed seven-story building would feature 115 one-bedroom apartments, with all but one unit designated for low- and moderate-income households.
The project is taking advantage of Los Angeles’ Citywide Housing Incentive Program, which allows for increased density in exchange for providing affordable housing. The development is one of several new projects in the area aimed at increasing the city’s housing stock and meeting state-mandated housing goals.
