Landmark Properties Completes 429-Unit Mixed-Use Project Near USC in Exposition Park

Landmark Properties has completed construction of The Standard at Los Angeles, an eight-story mixed-use development at 3900 S. Figueroa Street in Exposition Park. Located across from BMO Stadium and near the USC campus, the complex replaces a former surface parking lot and represents the culmination of an entitlement process that began in 2016.

Designed by executive architect HED, the wood-frame structure surrounds a central parking garage serving residents, guests, and Exposition Park event attendees. The project provides 429 fully furnished units totaling 1,236 beds across studio to five-bedroom layouts, complemented by 15,000 square feet of ground-floor retail. The site also incorporates five preserved townhomes along its eastern boundary housing 48 residents. Under conditions of approval, the development includes 87 units restricted to very low- and extremely low-income households. Shared amenities include five internal courtyards, study lounges, a fitness center, and a rooftop pool deck.

The delivery illustrates sustained institutional demand for high-density, off-campus student housing nodes along major transit and stadium corridors in Los Angeles.
