Warner Center’s Promenade Mall Demolished for Rams-Anchored Mixed-Use Redevelopment

The long-struggling Promenade Mall in Warner Center has been demolished, clearing the way for a substantial mixed-use redevelopment. Owned by Los Angeles Rams owner Stan Kroenke, the 52-acre site is slated to become "Rams Village," a complex totaling over 5.2 million square feet. This ambitious project will be anchored by the new Rams headquarters and an indoor training facility, alongside a diverse array of uses.

Plans for Rams Village, which saw revisions submitted to the Planning Department last year, include more than 3,100 residential units, with 646 homes in two residential buildings expected to break ground first. The development also features a 182-room hotel, 425,000 square feet of offices, 100,000 square feet of medical offices, and two entertainment venues with seating for 2,500 and 5,000 spectators. Additionally, a 65,000-square-foot public park and retail spaces are part of the design by Gensler. Five percent of the total residential units are designated for very low-income households. This phased development marks a significant shift for Warner Center, transforming a former retail hub into a dense, vibrant urban center with substantial housing and commercial offerings.
