Permits have been filed for a new residential development at 768 De Haro Street in San Francisco's Potrero Hill neighborhood. The project involves demolishing an existing single-family house to construct a new 40-foot-tall structure spanning approximately 3,800 square feet. This new building will feature a primary residence alongside a studio apartment, which is described as an in-law unit, occupying half of the first floor without dedicated parking or laundry facilities.

The primary residence will include a media room on the first floor, three bedrooms on the second, and dining and living areas on the third, with access to a rooftop deck. Designed by Stanley Saitowitz | Natoma Architects, the contemporary urban townhouse will showcase a curved facade with grooved metal panels and aluminum-frame windows. The 0.06-acre site is strategically located near 20th Street, close to local amenities and public spaces. Public records indicate the property was last sold in April 2026 for $2 million. Construction costs are estimated at $1.9 million, excluding other development expenses. This project represents a small-scale infill development, adding density and a new housing unit to a desirable San Francisco neighborhood.
