San Francisco Officials Approve 23-Story Condominium Tower at 1965 Market Street

San Francisco officials have given final approval for a 23-story, 201-unit condominium tower at 1965 Market Street.

The project, from property owner Keller Grover, will incorporate a historic Mission Revival building into its design.

It includes 28 affordable units for households earning less than 50% of the area’s median income.

The project took advantage of state density bonus measures and SB 423, the state’s housing approval streamlining law.

The entitled property is now expected to be listed for sale and could set a new benchmark for development sites approved under California’s new housing laws.
