The San Francisco Planning Commission is set to review plans for a seven-story mixed-use residential development at 2051 Market Street. Submitted by developer Sak Design & Build, the proposal represents a revised entitlement strategy utilizing the Housing Choice San Francisco framework for a property previously entitled under a different plan.

Designed by Winder Gibson Architects, the new development will replace an existing vacant two-story structure with a 24,458-square-foot building. The program includes ground-floor commercial space beneath six floors containing 29 residential apartments—divided into 15 one-bedroom and 14 two-bedroom units. Proposed amenities include on-site secure bicycle parking and a shared rooftop deck.

Positioned on a triangular parcel between Dolores Street and 14th Street in Mission Dolores, the transit-oriented infill site borders The Castro and Duboce Triangle, offering direct access to Muni light rail lines.
