New 40-Acre Retail Project in St. Cloud, FL to Feature Walmart Supercenter

A new 40-acre retail development is progressing in St. Cloud, Florida, an Orlando suburb located in Osceola County. The project, spearheaded by The Ferber Co., a Ponte Vedra-based development firm, will be anchored by a 187,000-square-foot Walmart Supercenter. Situated at the intersection of U.S. Highway 192 and Puffin Road, the expansive property is also planned to include a Walmart convenience store with a gas station, alongside seven to ten additional outparcels.

Site work and underground utility installations are currently underway. This strategic location and strong anchor tenant are expected to drive significant traffic to the new retail hub. The project team includes Hanson, Walter and Associates Inc., Traffic & Mobility Consultants, JR Davis, and Cogent Bank, with Alex Bisbee of Insite Real Estate assisting in identifying the two-parcel assemblage opportunity. The first tenants are anticipated to commence operations by early 2028, signaling a notable expansion of retail infrastructure in the growing St. Cloud area.
