Skyline Developers Delivers 97-Unit Apartment Building in Midtown Manhattan
Skyline Developers has announced the completion of 18W55, a new 97-unit apartment building located at 18 W. 55th St. in Midtown Manhattan. The 25-story tower, designed by Morris Adjmi Architects, features a mix of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor plans, alongside 5,265 square feet of ground-floor retail space.
Construction for the project commenced in mid-2023 and reached its topping-out phase by summer 2024. Following a leasing launch approximately nine months ago, the building is now fully occupied, underscoring strong demand in the Midtown residential market. Residents benefit from immediate access to prominent cultural and commercial landmarks such as MoMA, Central Park, and Rockefeller Center. Amenities within 18W55 include a fitness and wellness center, a coworking suite, a private cinema, a golf simulator, and a social lounge, catering to a luxury urban lifestyle. This development signifies a successful addition to Manhattan's housing inventory, reflecting continued investment and rapid absorption of new residential units in high-demand areas.
