Partners Capital Acquires Three Houston Shopping Centers, Nearing $1 Billion in Transactions
Partners Capital, the investment platform of Houston-based Partners Real Estate, recently acquired three neighborhood shopping centers located along Highway 6 in the city's Copperfield area. This acquisition, made through Partners Capital’s Opportunity Fund VI, pushes the firm's total transactions over the past decade to more than $950 million across nine investment funds.
The Highway 6 Retail Portfolio encompasses 116,143 square feet and includes Town Square Shopping Center, The Exchange Shopping Center, and Boardwalk Shopping Center. These properties are strategically positioned in a high-traffic retail corridor, approximately two to three miles south of Highway 290. Andrew Pappas, Partner and President of Partners Capital, highlighted the strategic value, noting the affluent surrounding residential base and the opportunity to enhance asset value.
Carson Grett, Vice President of Retail Acquisitions, stated that while The Exchange and Boardwalk have recently been modernized, Town Square is slated for a full renovation. This investment aims to capitalize on the centers' established presence within the community and the significant daily vehicle traffic on Highway 6, signaling continued investment in the area's retail infrastructure.
