Partners Capital Acquires Three Northwest Houston Retail Centers, Nearing $1 Billion in Transactions
Partners Capital, the investment arm of Houston-based Partners Real Estate, has completed the acquisition of three neighborhood shopping centers in northwest Houston. The transaction, executed through Partners Capital’s Opportunity Fund VI, involves the Town Square Shopping Center, The Exchange Shopping Center, and Boardwalk Shopping Center, all situated along Highway 6 in the Copperfield area, south of Highway 290. The total portfolio spans 116,143 square feet.
This acquisition pushes Partners Capital's total transaction volume over the past decade to more than $950 million across nine investment funds. Andrew Pappas, Partner and President of Partners Capital, highlighted the strategic value of gaining scale on Highway 6, a retail corridor with over 50,000 vehicles per day and an affluent residential base. The company plans to complete a full renovation of Town Square, bringing it to the same modern standard as The Exchange and Boardwalk, which were recently updated by the previous owner.
The David Weekley family was the seller, represented by John Indelli and Zamar Salas of JLL. This move underscores a continued investment thesis in well-located retail assets where active asset management can drive value for investors.
