Partners Capital Acquires Three Northwest Houston Shopping Centers, Nearing $1 Billion in Transactions
Partners Capital, the investment platform of Houston-based Partners Real Estate, recently finalized the acquisition of three neighborhood shopping centers in northwest Houston. This strategic move, executed through Partners Capital’s Opportunity Fund VI, pushes the company's total transaction volume to more than $950 million across nine investment funds over the last decade.
The acquired Highway 6 Retail Portfolio spans 116,143 square feet and includes the Town Square Shopping Center, The Exchange Shopping Center, and Boardwalk Shopping Center. These properties are situated along Highway 6 in the Copperfield area, a corridor known for high traffic and an affluent residential base. Partners Capital plans to renovate Town Square to match the recently modernized Exchange and Boardwalk centers.
Andrew Pappas, Partner and President of Partners Capital, highlighted the acquisition's importance for achieving scale in a key retail corridor. Carson Grett, Vice President of Retail Acquisitions, emphasized the centers' established role in the community. JLL's John Indelli and Zamar Salas represented the seller, the David Weekley family, in the transaction. This acquisition underscores continued investment in well-located retail assets with value-add potential.
