Dallas-based investment firm RAMROCK Real Estate has acquired Ridgmar Mall in West Fort Worth, Texas, with plans to transform the site into a new industrial park. The redevelopment, to be named Ridgmar 30 Logistics Crossing, will encompass six buildings totaling 930,960 square feet of industrial space. This acquisition marks a significant shift for the property, which originally opened in 1976 as Green Oaks Mall and has seen a considerable decline in its retail tenancy over the past decade, including the closures of major anchor stores like Neiman Marcus, Macy’s, and J.C. Penney.

RAMROCK Real Estate is collaborating with KBC Advisors and Lincoln Property Co. to manage the project's planning, leasing, and development execution. While specific construction timelines are yet to be announced, this initiative reflects a broader trend of repurposing underperforming retail centers into high-demand logistics and distribution hubs. The conversion of a large, aging mall into a modern industrial complex addresses the growing need for warehousing and supply chain infrastructure in the Fort Worth market, signaling a strategic adaptation to evolving real estate demands.
