A joint venture has commenced construction on the first phase of a significant industrial project in Haslet, Texas, approximately 25 miles north of Fort Worth. The partnership, comprising Kansas City-based NorthPoint Development, Olympus Ventures, and a local family, has broken ground on a 1 million-square-foot industrial facility. This initial building is part of the larger Intermodal Logistics Center West, a development planned to encompass 8.4 million square feet across nine buildings on 1,000 acres, with a total capital investment estimated at $750 million.
Building 1 will feature a cross-dock configuration, 40-foot clear heights, 100 dock doors, and four oversized ramp doors. It will also provide extensive parking, accommodating 750 cars and 194 trailers, with expansion capacity to 404 trailers. CBRE has been appointed as the leasing agent for this facility. This development signifies a substantial expansion of industrial logistics capacity in the North Texas region, offering modern infrastructure for distribution and warehousing operations. Developers and investors should note the scale and strategic location near Fort Worth.
