Lennar’s Manhattan Square Brings 351 New Homes to Carson
Lennar's Manhattan Square development in Carson is progressing, introducing 351 new condominiums and townhomes to the South Bay market. Situated west of the I-405 Freeway along Avalon Boulevard, these homes are part of a larger mixed-use project initially entitled by Faring. Units range from 1,229 to 2,066 square feet, offering two to four bedrooms, with prices beginning in the mid-$700,000s.
John Lavender, Lennar's division president, emphasized the project's role in delivering "much-needed homeownership opportunities at exceptional price points" within a desirable South Bay location. The development is designed as a vibrant, gated community featuring modern designs and resort-style amenities. Faring, the original entitling firm, is also planning to commence construction on apartment buildings on the eastern side of the site in the near future. This initiative follows Lennar's previous housing development near the Del Amo Fashion Center in Torrance, further expanding housing options in the region. The completion of Manhattan Square will provide a substantial increase in homeownership inventory for the Carson community and the broader South Bay.
