CIM Group Completes 47-Unit Apartment Complex with Affordable Housing in West Adams
CIM Group has announced the completion of 2535 Alsace, a new six-story apartment complex in the West Adams neighborhood of Los Angeles. The development, located just north of Adams Boulevard, adds 47 residential units to the area. To permit a larger structure than standard zoning rules would allow, CIM Group utilized development incentives. In exchange for this increased density, four of the new apartments are designated for very low-income households, addressing a critical need for affordable housing.
The property offers a mix of studio and one-bedroom apartments, complemented by amenities such as a rooftop deck. Additionally, the ground floor includes approximately 400 square feet of office space, making it a mixed-use development. This project is part of CIM Group's ongoing expansion of residential developments in West Adams, building on previous work including an adjacent mixed-use building at 2599 Alsace and similar structures at 5109 and 5217 Adams. The completion of 2535 Alsace demonstrates how developers are leveraging incentives to deliver new housing stock, including affordable units, in supply-constrained urban areas.
