The Honest Co. Secures 38,000 SF Headquarters Lease in Los Angeles’ Playa Vista

The Honest Co., a consumer goods company co-founded by Jessica Alba, has secured a 10-year lease for 38,000 square feet at The Bluffs at Playa Vista, a Class-A office campus in Los Angeles. This move will see the company relocate its headquarters to 12121 Bluff Creek Drive by May 1, 2027, coinciding with the expiration of its current lease. The Bluffs, a 500,000 square-foot property, was recently repositioned by owners Lincoln Property Co. and Strategic Value Partners.

According to Securities and Exchange Commission filings, the lease is valued at $33.4 million. The base rent will commence at $3.50 per square foot per month in the first year, escalating to approximately $9.22 per square foot by the tenth year. The agreement also includes a provision for 10 months of free rent, which will be applied during the third year of the lease term when the rent sees a substantial increase. This significant office transaction underscores continued demand for modern, well-located office spaces in key Los Angeles submarkets, reflecting ongoing activity in the region's commercial real estate landscape.
