Together California Completes Foster Housing Village in Palmdale

Construction has completed on Together California: A Village for Brothers and Sisters, a specialized residential project in Palmdale intended to keep foster siblings housed together. The development was co-founded by Christian Bale, Sibi Bale, Dr. Eric Esrailian, and Tim McCormick, culminating an 18-year planning and delivery effort.

Designed by architecture firm AC Martin, the master-planned complex features 12 townhomes alongside a 7,000-square-foot community building. The property also incorporates two studio apartments dedicated to young adults who are transitioning out of the foster care system. The layout emphasizes sustainable construction, climate-responsive design, and shared courtyard spaces to facilitate community support.

For residential developers and non-profit housing providers, the project serves as a distinct case study in building specialized, programmatic community housing models that balance private living quarters with extensive shared social infrastructure.
