Brookfield Secures $130.5 Million Construction Loan for Rialto Logistics Center
Brookfield has secured $130.5 million in construction financing from Apollo for its new Locust Gateway Logistics Center. This Class A industrial facility, spanning 664,859 square feet, will be located at 2125 West Lowell Street in Rialto, California. The financing package provided by Apollo is structured as a five-year term.
The site for the new logistics center is situated on a parcel that was formerly part of the Rialto Airport, which has been closed for 12 years. Rialto is an Inland Empire city located approximately 54 miles east of Los Angeles. CBRE’s Tom Rugg, Tom Traynor, Val Achtemeier, Mark Finan, and Henry Fenmore were responsible for arranging this significant transaction.
This development signifies continued investment in the Inland Empire's industrial market, transforming a former airport site into a modern logistics hub. For developers and lenders, it highlights the availability of substantial construction financing for large-scale industrial projects in key Southern California markets.
