Construction is actively underway for a new ten-story affordable housing complex located at 825 Berryessa Station Way in San Jose, Santa Clara County. Developer Affirmed Housing is leading the project, with foundation work currently in progress and a crane fully erected on site. The structure, designed by Dahlin Group, is set to provide 195 affordable housing units.

The development is expected to yield approximately 217,500 square feet, including 155,330 square feet dedicated to housing, alongside assembly space, an eight-car garage, and ground-level commercial areas. The project secured $38.5 million from the state’s Affordable Housing and Sustainable Communities Program, managed by the California Strategic Growth Council. Erin Curtis, Executive Director of the Council, highlighted the project's alignment with creating walkable, affordable communities near public transit.

Situated on a 0.8-acre property adjacent to the Berryessa BART tracks and VTA parking garage, the site is part of a broader Berryessa Urban Village master plan that envisions over three thousand housing units and offices. HA Builder Group serves as the general contractor, with construction having commenced in May of this year. Completion is anticipated as early as Spring 2028, adding crucial affordable housing to a transit-rich area.
