HTG Advances Plans for 84-Unit Affordable Housing Project in Hollywood, Florida
Housing Trust Group (HTG) is progressing with its plans for 'The Mosaic,' a new 10-story multi-family community in Hollywood, Florida. The project, situated at 1708 N. Dixie Highway in Broward County, will feature 84 affordable housing units. HTG is utilizing the Live Local Act, a state initiative that provides incentives for developers who designate at least 40 percent of a project's residences as affordable housing.
The development site, spanning 21,261 square feet, is currently under contract by HTG from its owner, Pro Ven, for $2.6 million. Communal amenities planned for The Mosaic include a swimming pool, a fitness center, and 103 parking spaces. The project aims to address the demand for affordable housing in Broward County, where the median income was reported at $96,200 in 2025. This development signifies continued investment in affordable housing solutions, leveraging state policy to facilitate new construction.
