H&M Gains Approval for 132 ‘Sky Homes’ Development in Weston, Florida
Aventura-based developer H&M has received approval from the Weston City Commission for a 132-unit residential project located at 357 Racquet Club Road in Weston, Florida. The plans, approved on September 28, detail 11 four-story buildings that will house "sky homes," each offering approximately 1,900 square feet of living space. These units are projected to be priced from $850,000, averaging around $447 per square foot, and will include three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The development is designed with a central courtyard and will provide 406 parking spots, supplementing the two-car garages integrated with each residence. Pascual, Perez, Kiliddjian, Star Architects is responsible for the architectural design, with Tara Patton serving as the land planner. This 6.6-acre site in Broward County previously had proposals for a 245-unit assisted living facility in 2024, which did not materialize. The property currently features a defunct commercial building, described by Weston City Commissioner Mary Molina-Macfie as "blighted."
This approval paves the way for new residential construction on a site slated for redevelopment, transforming an underutilized parcel into a significant housing asset for the Weston community. Developers and lenders can note the successful navigation of local planning approvals for a substantial multi-family project in a desirable South Florida market.
