Venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz, commonly known as a16z, has executed a lease agreement to open an office at CityPlace Tower in West Palm Beach, Florida. The space will operate as a regional headquarters for its $1.18 billion American Dynamism fund, directed by general partner Katherine Boyle, with operations scheduled to launch early next year. Landlord representative Related Ross confirmed the deal but did not disclose the leased square footage.

The 18-story, 303,519-square-foot office tower at 525 Okeechobee Boulevard was purchased by Related Ross in 2021 for $175 million. The transaction represents another leasing milestone for billionaire developer Stephen Ross, who is executing a $10 billion master development initiative in the city and recently secured a $772 million financing package for two additional Class A towers. Other prominent financial tenants in the firm's portfolio include Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo, and J.P. Morgan Chase.

This marks a return to South Florida for a16z following the closure of its Miami Beach crypto outpost in 2024. For office landlords and developers, the lease highlights sustained institutional demand for prime Class A commercial space across South Florida's expanding financial and tech corridors.
