Chicago Real Estate Community Gathers for Eisenberg Foundation’s Annual Fundraising Dinner
The Harold E. Eisenberg Foundation is set to host its 27th annual networking and fundraising dinner on November 5 at the Hilton Chicago. This event aims to gather over 700 professionals from the commercial real estate, business, and medical communities, with a goal to raise more than $750,000. Funds will support gastrointestinal cancer research programs at the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center within Northwestern Medical Center.
Beyond its significant contributions to cancer research, the foundation also plays a crucial role in developing future real estate professionals. Its educational initiatives, including mentorships, career days, and an annual Real Estate Challenge, have supported over 2,200 mentees and granted more than $700,000 in scholarships. The dinner provides a key networking opportunity for industry leaders and emerging talent.
Chaired by Harold Francke of Meltzer Purtill & Steele LLC and Chris Malencek of Studio GC, the event highlights the commercial real estate sector's commitment to philanthropy and community engagement. Sponsorship opportunities, ranging from $5,000 to $20,000, remain available for firms looking to support both cancer research and real estate education. This annual gathering underscores the industry's broader impact beyond development.
