Rhino Investments Group Acquires 932K SF Randhurst Village Retail Center in Mount Prospect for $95M
Las Vegas-based Rhino Investments Group has acquired Randhurst Village, a 932,000-square-foot open-air retail center in Mount Prospect, Illinois, from DLC Management. The transaction for the suburban Chicago property closed at the original contract price, demonstrating investor confidence despite market volatility. Randhurst Village, spanning approximately 94 acres at Rand and Elmhurst roads, is anchored by Jewel-Osco and Costco and attracts over 7.3 million annual visitors.
This acquisition marks Rhino Investments Group's second significant retail investment in the Chicago area within just over a year, following an interest in The Promenade Bolingbrook in March 2025. CEO Sanjiv Chopra stated that these deals underscore the company's commitment to the Chicago market and its strategy of investing in large-scale retail destinations with strong tenancy and long-term community relevance. Other tenants at Randhurst Village include Home Depot, Macy’s, and TJ Maxx. DLC Management had acquired the property for $100.5M in 2015, selling off outlying parcels in subsequent deals. The sale, brokered by Newmark's Conor Lalor and Keely Polczynski, indicates continued demand for well-positioned, large-format retail assets.
