Marcus & Millichap Brokers $4.9M Sale of Boston Apartment Portfolio
Marcus & Millichap has arranged the sale of the Delhi Street Portfolio, a set of three apartment buildings with 18 total units in the Mattapan neighborhood of Boston. The sale price was $4.9 million.
The properties were built in 1930 and contain three one-bedroom units and 15 two-bedroom units. Evan Griffith and Tony Pepdjonovic of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller, a local partnership. The buyer was not named in the report.
The deal is a small multifamily trade in an older Boston neighborhood, with a price of roughly $272,000 per unit based on the reported figures. Brokers and investors tracking pricing for older, small-scale apartment stock in the Northeast can use it as a data point, though the undisclosed buyer limits what the transaction reveals about the investor pool.
