A significant merger has created a new powerhouse in the multifamily sector. Indianapolis-based Milhaus has joined forces with SRG Residential, the property management subsidiary of Newport Beach-based Sares Regis Group.
The deal creates a combined entity with a $2.5 billion development pipeline and over 50,000 homes under management.
The merger will expand Milhaus’s operational footprint into the Western U.S., specifically targeting growth in Southern California, Denver, and Phoenix.
As part of the transaction, Milhaus will also acquire investment management firm Broadshore Capital Partners.
The new company plans to start eight new development projects in 2026, totaling over 2,000 units.
The move provides Milhaus with a substantial third-party property management portfolio and accelerates its growth, aiming for 100,000 units under management within two years.
This consolidation reflects a strategic push to scale operations and development capacity in key growth markets.
