Orlando Planning Board to Review 616-Unit Mosby Lake Conway Apartments Proposal

The Orlando Municipal Planning Board is scheduled to review plans for the Mosby Lake Conway Apartments, a significant two-phase multi-family development, on October 20th. Located at 4900 and 5106 S. Semoran Blvd. in Orlando, the project proposes a total of 616 residences across a 51.2-acre site in Orange County. This initiative aims to help meet the growing housing demand across Central Florida.

The first phase includes six four-story buildings with 310 units, while the second phase will add another six four-story buildings with 306 units. Residences will range from studios, up to 750 square feet, to three-bedroom layouts. Planned communal amenities feature two swimming pools and two clubhouses, alongside two retention ponds, 1,049 surface parking spots, and pedestrian trails.

The developer's application, filed by Kimley-Horn on behalf of owner Rawjee Holdings LLC, seeks to rezone the parcel from its current R-3B/AN, R-3B/RP/AN, and R-3/RP/AN/SP classifications to Residential Medium Intensity (RES-MED) and RES-MED/Resource Protection (RES-PRO). This rezoning is crucial for the project's advancement.
