Bronx Medical Office Building Achieves Full Occupancy with VA Vet Center Lease
Simone Development Companies has achieved full occupancy at its 27,275-square-foot medical and office building located at 1733 Eastchester Road in the Bronx's Morris Park neighborhood. The final vacant space, a 5,234-square-foot unit, was leased in June by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) on behalf of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. This long-term agreement will establish a new Bronx Vet Center, providing essential counseling, outreach, and referral services to veterans and their families.
Prior to the VA lease, Simone Development also secured a 2,766-square-foot lease in May with Downtown Brooklyn Physical Therapy, marking their first Bronx location. These recent deals underscore a growing demand for accessible, high-quality outpatient medical and social services facilities within the Bronx. The property's strategic location and modern professional spaces were key factors in attracting these vital service providers. This full lease-up highlights the robust market for specialized medical office real estate in urban areas like the Bronx.
