Law Firm Leases 25,123 SF in Downtown Houston’s 3 Houston Center
Kane Russell Coleman Logan PC (KRCL) will relocate its Houston office from the Galleria area to 3 Houston Center in downtown Houston. The firm leased 25,123 square feet in the building at 1301 McKinney.
JLL's Chad Baker, along with colleagues Lauren Stifflemire and Kennedy Gamble, represented the firm in the transaction, helping it identify a space suited to its operational needs and long-term growth plans. Stream Realty Partners managing directors Ryan Barbles and Matt Asvestas represented ownership in the leasing process.
The move follows KRCL's opening of an Austin office last year and the addition of 12 new hires across Houston, Dallas and Austin last month. Company leaders said the downtown location places the firm closer to the business community and its clients. The space was previously home to Norton Rose Fulbright, which moved to a newer tower at 1550 Lamar developed by Skanska.
For developers and brokers, the lease is another sign of continued tenant demand for high-quality downtown office product in Houston, particularly in buildings that can absorb space vacated by larger firms.
