Construction is actively progressing on the Culver Commons project in Culver City, with concrete work and wood framing now taking shape at the prominent intersection of Washington Boulevard and Centinela Avenue. Developer Regency Centers is advancing this commercial development, which will ultimately feature 13,000 square feet of dedicated restaurant space alongside parking for 145 vehicles. The project, with AO serving as the architect of record, commenced earnest construction nine months ago and is on track for an anticipated completion in Spring 2027.

A project website indicates that several tenants have already secured leases, including Vox Kitchen, El Moro, Smog City Brewing Co., Rol, and Wanderlust Creamery, signaling a vibrant new dining destination. Notably, the current scope of Culver Commons is roughly half the size of what was originally envisioned for the site. Regency Centers made the decision in 2024 to remove a larger market hall component from the development. This project underscores the ongoing demand for strategically located retail and dining establishments within established urban areas, offering new opportunities for businesses and enhancing local amenities.
