Framing Completed for 270-Unit Legado at the Met Apartment Project in Santa Ana
Framing has been completed for the Legado at the Met, a new multifamily residential building located at 200 E. First American Way in Santa Ana. Developed by the Beverly Hills-based Legado Companies, the six-story structure will feature 270 studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom dwellings, with sizes spanning from 600 to 1,800 square feet.
The project, designed by WHA Architects, will offer a range of amenities including a business center, lounge, fitness center, pool, clubhouse, and a rooftop yoga area, alongside a public plaza. Parking for 617 vehicles will be accommodated across three subterranean levels and one at-grade level. The development secured an approximately $128-million construction loan in early 2024.
This site is strategically located just over a mile east of two major shopping centers, which are slated for significant redevelopment by Related Cos. and Hines, potentially adding over 5,000 homes. The completion of Legado at the Met will contribute to the growing housing supply in Santa Ana, offering new residential options in a key Orange County market.
