JLL Secures $210 Million Refinancing for Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort & Villas
JLL Capital Markets has successfully secured $210 million in refinancing for the Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort & Villas, a significant transaction for the luxury hospitality sector in California's Coachella Valley. The five-year, floating-rate SASB CMBS loan was provided by Citi to the borrower, Trinity Investments. This financing follows a substantial $62 million renovation and conversion of the property to the Grand Hyatt brand.
The Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort & Villas is situated on 45 acres at 44600 Indian Wells Lane. It features 531 accommodations, including 449 guest rooms, 39 suites, and 43 villas, alongside over 88,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space. The resort offers extensive amenities such as nine pools, a destination water park, a 30,000-square-foot Agua Serena Spa & Wellness center, six food and beverage venues, and preferred access to the adjacent Indian Wells Golf Resort. This refinancing provides critical capital for the owner, impacting the operational stability and future investment potential of a major hospitality asset.
