Burlington Stores Leases 31,717 SF at Brooklyn Navy Yard’s Admirals Row Campus
Burlington Stores, formerly Burlington Coat Factory, has finalized a 10-year retail lease for 31,717 square feet at 25 Navy Street within the Brooklyn Navy Yard. The agreement, filed recently, covers 11,385 square feet on the ground floor and the entire 20,332-square-foot second floor of the vacant two-story building. This site is part of the 8-acre Admirals Row mixed-use campus, developed by Steiner NYC, which also features a Wegmans-anchored shopping center.
Doug Steiner of Steiner NYC expressed enthusiasm for welcoming Burlington, an off-price retailer, with plans for the store to open in fall 2027. The lease leaves approximately 7,000 square feet still available in the under-construction building. Ripco Real Estate's Jason Pennington and Ben Weiner represented Steiner NYC, while Cliff Simon of CNS Real Estate acted on behalf of Burlington.
This new location expands Burlington's presence in New York City, following other recent leases in Manhattan and Queens. The Admirals Row development, located near the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway and Brooklyn Bridge, also includes light industrial and office space, alongside existing tenants like City MD and Wells Fargo. The addition of Burlington further solidifies the Brooklyn Navy Yard as a significant commercial hub.
