Toll Brothers Begins Construction on 43-Home Project in Redondo Beach
Toll Brothers has initiated construction on a 43-home residential development located at 122 Pacific Coast Highway in Redondo Beach. The project, situated on a former Catholic church property, received necessary approvals from Redondo Beach planning officials in February 2026. City Ventures, which managed the entitlement process, secured authorization for a larger project density than typically permitted. This increased density was granted in exchange for the inclusion of three units designated for very low-income households, addressing local housing needs.
The new community will feature three-story townhomes with floor plans ranging from 1,400 to 2,200 square feet. Asking prices for these luxury units are expected to start at $2 million. Model homes are anticipated to open in 2027, with the development aiming to offer coastal living options in Southern California. This project highlights how developers can leverage affordable housing incentives to achieve higher densities in desirable, supply-constrained markets.
