A staff presentation to the West Hollywood Planning Commission has revealed fresh renderings for a proposed office complex on the Sunset Strip. Developer Faring, based in West Hollywood, plans to construct a five-story building at 9160-9176 Sunset Boulevard, replacing a shuttered car dealership. The project is designed to feature 52,999 square feet of office space situated above ground-floor commercial units, complemented by an 85-car garage.

Gensler remains the architect for the development, which incorporates terraced decks and upper-level setbacks to reduce its perceived scale, particularly towards the residential neighborhood located south of the Strip. These design elements also create outdoor amenity spaces for tenants. While digital displays are being considered for the building's exterior, their approval process is separate from the main structure.

Pending necessary approvals from the City of West Hollywood and other regulatory bodies, construction is anticipated to span approximately 19 months. This development represents a significant commercial addition to a prominent West Hollywood corridor, with design considerations aimed at neighborhood integration.
