Bacardi Establishes 100,000-Square-Foot North America Office in Coral Gables

Bacardi, the global spirits company, officially opened its new 100,000-square-foot North America regional office on September 16, 2026, within the Plaza Coral Gables development. The move consolidates approximately 250 employees across five floors at 3011 Ponce de Leon Boulevard, marking a relocation from another Coral Gables site and continuing Bacardi's operational presence in South Florida since 1963.

The new headquarters features a private fitness center, multiple bars, and dedicated event spaces. It also houses Bacardi’s extensive archive of over 18,000 company and family artifacts, alongside a significant Cuban art collection. Bacardi, a family-owned company for seven generations since its 1862 founding, operates over 200 brands globally.

Plaza Coral Gables, developed by an Agave Holdings affiliate and completed in 2022, is a 2.25 million-square-foot mixed-use project. It includes 455,000 square feet of office space, 165,000 square feet of retail, 170 residences, and a 242-room Loews Hotel. This significant office lease underscores South Florida's emergence as a key region for spirits companies, driven by its strategic location and robust hospitality sector. The presence of major players like Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits further solidifies the market's appeal for the industry.
