Safe Harbor Rybovich Opens New 44,054-Square-Foot Marine Trade Building in Riviera Beach
The Safe Harbor Rybovich Trade Building, a new 44,054-square-foot marine service facility, recently celebrated its grand opening at 157 East 22nd Street in Riviera Beach. Completed for Safe Harbor Rybovich, this three-level structure is a key component of an expansion for the company's Riviera Beach marine campus. Hedrick Brothers Construction, operating from its West Palm Beach office, oversaw the construction, which began in May 2025 and reached substantial completion in April 2026.
The new building features first-floor and mezzanine-level trade spaces dedicated to vessel servicing, with professional offices on the upper level. Beyond the vertical construction, Hedrick Brothers also managed extensive sitework and infrastructure improvements, including utility relocations, right-of-way enhancements, and new landscaping. A significant addition is a mobile boat lift, imported from Germany, capable of handling yachts up to 250 feet long. This expansion nearly doubles the campus’s hauling capacity, enabling it to accommodate approximately 300 vessels annually.
Safe Harbor touts the expanded campus as Florida's largest superyacht repair facility, and one of the largest on the East Coast. This increased capacity is expected to draw more vessels to the region, consequently increasing demand for marine contractors, skilled tradespeople, suppliers, and other local businesses, underscoring the marine industry's role as a vital economic driver for South Florida.
