Safe Harbor Rybovich Unveils Expanded Marine Service Facility in Riviera Beach
The Safe Harbor Rybovich Trade Building, a new 44,054-square-foot marine service facility, has officially opened at 157 East 22nd Street in Riviera Beach. A grand opening ceremony was held on September 17, 2026, following the building's substantial completion in April 2026. Construction for the three-level facility, which includes first-floor and mezzanine-level trade spaces for vessel servicing and professional offices on the upper level, commenced in May 2025 on the 4.84-acre site.
Developed for Safe Harbor Rybovich, the project was designed by Saltz Michelson Architects, with Hedrick Brothers Construction managing the build. Beyond the vertical construction, Hedrick Brothers also executed extensive sitework and infrastructure upgrades, including utility relocations, right-of-way improvements, and new landscaping. The scope also involved enhancing the adjacent boatyard with robust electrical and mechanical infrastructure to support large-scale yacht maintenance.
A key component of this expansion is a new mobile boat lift, imported from Germany, capable of handling yachts up to 250 feet long. This addition nearly doubles the campus's hauling capacity, projected to accommodate up to 300 vessels annually. Safe Harbor describes the expanded Riviera Beach campus as Florida's largest superyacht repair facility. This increased capacity is expected to draw more vessels to the area, boosting demand for marine contractors, skilled trades, suppliers, and other local businesses, thereby strengthening South Florida's marine economy.
