Continental Properties Begins Construction on 330-Unit Multi-Family Project in San Antonio, Florida
Construction has begun on Springs at Abbey Crossing, a new 330-unit multi-family housing community located at State Road 52 and McKendree Road in San Antonio, Florida. Developed by Wisconsin-based Continental Properties, the project will offer garden-style residences ranging from studio to three-bedroom layouts, equipped with smart home technology. Some units will also feature attached garages.
The gated community is designed with a variety of amenities, including a clubhouse, pickleball court, dog park, and grilling stations with fire pits. LandSouth Construction is serving as the general contractor, with Excel Engineering providing architectural services. Continental Properties acquired the development site in September for $7.7 million.
Springs at Abbey Crossing is an integral part of the larger Abbey Crossings mixed-use development in Pasco County, which is planned to incorporate industrial, office, and retail spaces. Pre-leasing for the multi-family units is expected to commence in spring 2027, with the first residences becoming available for occupancy a few months thereafter. This development signifies continued growth in the region, adding substantial housing supply within a comprehensive mixed-use environment.
