Del Webb Launches 670-Home Active Adult Community in Houston Area’s Bridgeland
Del Webb, a subsidiary of PulteGroup, has officially opened Del Webb Bridgeland, a new active adult community designed for residents aged 55 and up. Located within the expansive Bridgeland master-planned development in Cypress, near Houston, this community will feature 670 homes. A grand opening event is scheduled for Saturday, October 3, at 21606 Denton Creek Drive, showcasing fully furnished model homes.
The new development offers homes ranging from 1,600 to 2,712 square feet, with prices beginning in the mid-$400,000s. Residents will have access to a dedicated lifestyle director and a variety of amenities, including a clubhouse, resort-style pool, fitness center, golf simulator, movement studio, and both indoor and outdoor pickleball courts. Bridgeland, an 11,500-acre project by Howard Hughes Communities, already provides diverse housing options, from single-family homes to urban townhomes and build-to-rent properties. This expansion by Del Webb underscores the continued demand for age-restricted housing within large-scale master-planned communities in growing Texas markets. Developers and investors should note the strategic placement of such communities to cater to an expanding demographic seeking specialized living environments.
