Hamilton Development Starts $57.7M Warehouse in Fort Worth’s Walsh Ranch
Nashville-based Hamilton Development is building a $57.7 million warehouse and office project in the Walsh development in far west Fort Worth. The roughly 1 million-square-foot building includes about 6,000 square feet of office space and marks the developer's first Texas project.
According to a state filing, construction started October 15, and completion is expected in the third quarter of 2027. The building is already leased, but Hamilton has not disclosed the occupant. It is the first of two buildings planned for Walsh Industrial.
The site is about 60 acres off Bentley Bridge Drive and Interstate 20, within a roughly 2,500-acre office and industrial section of the 7,500-acre Walsh community. Walsh Companies says the broader industrial park south of Interstate 20 could eventually exceed 20 million square feet of industrial space.
For developers and lenders, the project shows pre-leased speculative-scale industrial capacity moving forward in Fort Worth's southwest corridor, with a fast-track schedule that is worth tracking for comparable land and financing deals.
