Non-profit developer EAH Housing has finished construction on Lexington Gardens, a 48-unit affordable housing community located at 1201 N. Detroit Street at the northwest corner of Lexington Avenue in West Hollywood. Built on a formerly vacant site after breaking ground last year, the five-story structure features 47 studio apartments alongside a two-bedroom unit reserved for an on-site manager.

Designed by DE Architects, the contemporary low-rise contains residences ranging between 384 and 447 square feet. The development includes shared laundry amenities, a community room, and dedicated offices for supportive services and property management. Residential units are restricted to income-qualifying tenants earning between 30 and 60 percent of the area median income level.

The completion comes as EAH Housing expands its footprint across the region, having also started construction on an affordable development along Martel Avenue in West Hollywood and advancing plans for a large-scale project in Downtown Santa Monica.

For residential developers and non-profit sponsors, the project illustrates the rapid delivery of infill supportive housing on compact parcels through targeted small-unit design.
