EAH Housing Completes 50-Unit Senior Affordable Community in West Hollywood

CompaniesDeals

EAH Housing, partnering with the St. Joseph Center, has completed Marigold West, a 50-unit affordable housing development at 1041 N. Martel Avenue in West Hollywood. Situated just south of Santa Monica Boulevard, the five-story structure provides studio, one-, and two-bedroom residences designated for seniors aged 62 and older, with 25 units reserved for individuals who are currently unhoused or at risk of homelessness.

Designed by KFA Architecture, the 47,472-square-foot building features residential amenities including a community multipurpose room, lounge space, multiple open-air amenity decks, and an on-site parking garage accommodating 19 vehicles.

Marigold West represents the second West Hollywood development completed by EAH Housing in recent years, following the Lexington Gardens project at 1201 N. Detroit Street. The organization is also progressing on a mixed-use affordable housing project in Downtown Santa Monica.

For multifamily developers and lenders, this completion underscores the viability of pairing supportive services with tax-credit senior housing models in dense, high-barrier infill markets.
