Massachi Begins Construction on 115-Unit Mixed-Use Development in West Hollywood

Vertical construction is underway on a seven-story mixed-use development at 8025 Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood. Developer Massachi has mobilized a tower crane at the corner of Santa Monica and Crescent Heights Boulevards after securing a $48 million construction loan for the project.

The finished building will deliver 115 apartments across studio, one-, and two-bedroom layouts, positioned above 3,909 square feet of ground-level commercial space and a 115-vehicle parking garage. Under entitlements approved by the City of West Hollywood, 16 residential units are designated as affordable housing.

OfficeUntitled developed the entitlement architectural design, which incorporates an interior courtyard, terrace decks on the rooftop, and a swimming pool deck. Founder Alex Massachi noted that the firm does not serve as the architect of record. The development expands Massachi's regional footprint alongside projects in Los Angeles, including a completed 24-unit complex near Santa Monica Boulevard and Orange Drive.

This project highlights continued lender confidence in well-located multifamily infill along major commercial corridors with mandatory inclusionary housing components.
