Luxury Vehicle Storage Project Garage San Jose Advances in Jacksonville
Construction has begun on Garage San Jose, a luxury vehicle storage project at 2890 University Blvd. W. in Jacksonville, Florida, in Duval County. The development will add about 30,000 square feet of new construction holding 26 climate-controlled storage suites, each ranging from roughly 1,042 to 1,100 square feet.
According to the Jacksonville Business Journal, the project is backed by S&H Development, a partnership between the Huntley and Sleiman families, both based in Jacksonville. The firm bought the two-acre site for $1.975 million in March 2026. Rentals are listed starting at $3,500 per month, with optional upgrades available.
Impact Design Build and 4k Construction are leading construction, Bold Line Design LLC is handling interiors, and Almond Engineering is the civil engineer. Completion is anticipated in fall 2027.
The project follows Palm Beach Auto Haus, a multi-million-dollar auto condo covered by Florida YIMBY in May 2026, which was planned with 20 private garages over two stories.
For developers, the project illustrates demand for premium vehicle storage in Northeast Florida and a pricing model built on per-suite monthly rents.
