Nonprofit Breaks Ground on $380M Seniors Housing Community in Boynton Beach
Green Cay Life Plan Village Inc., a nonprofit organization, has broken ground on The Winsberg at Green Cay, a substantial continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Boynton Beach, Florida. This $380 million project, co-developed by Greenbrier Development LLC and BRP Senior Housing Management LLC, an affiliate of Big Rock Partners, is slated for completion in 2028.
The 15-acre development will feature a 510,000-square-foot building housing 220 residences, comprising 189 independent living units and 32 units for assisted living and memory care. Amenities planned include multiple dining options, a fitness center, yoga studio, theater, and a swimming pool. Moss Construction is managing the construction for the project, which was initially announced in 2022. This CCRC represents the first new facility of its kind in Palm Beach County since 2016, addressing a growing demand for seniors housing options in the region.
