New details have been revealed for a significant mixed-use development slated for 305 E. Colorado Street in Glendale, near Brand Boulevard. Designed by Kevin Tsai Architecture, the project proposes interconnected six-story buildings on the site of the former United Community Church.

The development will feature 323 apartments, offering a mix of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom units. Additionally, it includes 9,143 square feet of ground-floor commercial space and parking for 474 vehicles. To proceed, the project will need density bonus waivers and the vacation of an adjoining alleyway. In return for these approvals, 33 of the new apartments are designated for very low-income renters.

Renderings depict a contemporary design with stucco exteriors, inset balconies, and wood accents. The property's proximity to Glendale Central Park and the upcoming Armenian American Museum highlights its strategic urban location, indicating potential for increased pedestrian activity and local amenities.
