Walmart to Open 40,344 SF Grocery Store in Doral Atrium, Metro Miami

Terra has announced a significant retail lease agreement with Walmart for a 40,344-square-foot space at Doral Atrium, a new 78,000-square-foot lifestyle retail development located in Doral, a western suburb of Miami. Walmart plans to establish a new neighborhood-format grocery store, enhancing the retail offerings in the area.

Construction for the Walmart Neighborhood Market is projected to commence this fall, with the store anticipated to open its doors to customers in 2027. This development is set to provide essential grocery services to the Doral community, complementing other committed tenants at Doral Atrium, which include PNC Bank, Bonchon Chicken, Sushi Mas, Tremble Pilates, and The Good Feet Store.

Jonathan Carter and Pablo Camposano of Colliers are managing the leasing efforts for the retail center. The addition of a major grocery anchor like Walmart is expected to drive significant foot traffic and bolster the commercial viability of the Doral Atrium project, offering a new amenity for local residents and a stable tenant for the developer.
