Baker Katz Secures Five Einstein Bros. Bagels Leases Across Greater Houston
Baker Katz has completed five lease transactions totaling 9,548 square feet for Einstein Bros. Bagels across the greater Houston area. The locations include a site in the Garden Oaks district of Houston and spaces in the suburban communities of Tomball, Spring, Baytown and Manvel.
Lunden McGill and John Frazier of Baker Katz represented the bagel chain as tenant in all of the negotiations. On the landlord side, several brokerage teams took part, including Blue Ox Group in Houston, Edge Properties in Tomball, NewQuest in Spring, Fidelis in Baytown and Weitzman in Manvel.
The deals reflect continued expansion by quick-service restaurant tenants into suburban Houston trade areas, where smaller in-line retail boxes remain in demand. The transactions were reported as restaurant leasing activity rather than as a financing or sale.
Practical implication: restaurant operators seeking multi-site footprints in the Houston region are still finding space in both urban infill and suburban strip centers, so landlords and brokers working on similar boxes should track comparable deals in these submarkets.
